Request for information as to whether "emissions from combustion of coal" meet the criteria for listing as known to the State to cause cancer under the authoritative bodies listing mechanism.

Candidates for listing via the Authoritative Bodies mechanism found not to meet the formal identification criteria: 2,4-dichlorphenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D); 2,4-D n-butyl ester; 2,4-D isopropyl ester; 2,4-D isooctyl ester; propylene gylcol butyl ether ester (of 2,4-D); 2,4-D butoxyethanol ester; and 2,4-D dimethylamine salt.

On June 1, 2012, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a notice of proposed rulemaking proposing an oral Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) for the chemical butyl benzyl phthalate.
