Effective January 17, 2003 , sodium saccharin is delisted from the list of chemicals as known to cause cancer. Bromacil lithium salt is listed effective January 17, 2003 as known to the state of California to cause reproductive toxicity.
OEHHA announces a second public comment period for the revised draft technical support documents for proposed Public Health Goals for 11 chemicals. These chemicals are: asbestos, barium, beryllium, chlorobenzene, 1,1-dichloroethane, diethylhexyl adipate, ethylene dibromide, hexachlorobenzene, silvex, 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane, and toxaphene.

OEHHA has prepared the draft hazard identification document for sodium saccharin and announces the availability of the draft document entitled: "Evidence on the Carcinogenicity of Sodium Saccharin."
OEHHA has prepared the draft hazard identification documents for diuron and bromacil lithium salt and announces the availability of the draft documents entitled: "Evidence on the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity of Diuron," and "Evidence on the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity of Bromacil Lithium Salt."
OEHHA has prepared the draft hazard identification document for phenelzine and its acid salts and announces the availability of the draft document entitled: "Evidence on the Carcinogenicity of phenelzine and its acid salts."
OEHHA has provided a number of comments and concerns on the risk characterization methodology and conclusions of the TAC documents for Chlorpyrifos. These comments and our recommendations, as well as suggested clarifications, additions and corrections, are contained in this report.OEHHA has also submitted findings on the active ingredient Chlorpyrifos for your review. These findings were prepared in response to the TAC documents prepared by the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR).
